Health Ministries

PPC's Health Ministries Committee is composed of members with backgrounds in the health maintenance field. The Committee schedules many events throughout the year to promote good health among PPC's congregation and visitors, and arranges for flu shots to be given at the church each year in the late fall.

Latino/a Ministries

Pastor Ricardo Moreno, Spanish-language Ministries Pastoral Associate, conducts a worship service for those more comfortable sharing their faith and praise in the Spanish language in Freeman Chapel each Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  For more information, call Pastor Moreno at (626)793-2191, ext. 204.

Korean Ministries

Under the vital leadership of the Rev. Hyun Sung, the Korean-Language Ministry  at PPC joins together for weekly worship in the Korean  on Sundays at 12:00 p.m.  in the sanctuary.  During the weekdays a busy schedule of programming occurs.   PPC's Korean Ministry welcomes anyone who wishes to participate.  A particular welcome is extended to Korean students in nearby colleges and universities.  For information, contact Rev. PPC COMMUNITY LIFE CENTER
Food Distribution Program

Each week a grocery cart is parked outside the entrance to the sanctuary.  
Items placed in the cart are added to our weekly food distribution boxes.  
Suggested donations: rice, pinto beans, sugar, cooking oil; baby diapers and children's clothing; paper towels and toilet paper; detergent and bleach.
Volunteers are needed to pick-up, pack and distribute food to families,
particularly on Fridays each week.

Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC)

Los Angeles Children's Chorus (LACC), under the Artistic Direction of Anne Chesher Tomlinson, this Chorus has gained a national reputation for excellence as the standard bearer for community children's choirs in Southern California.  LACC has become a thriving non-profit organization that provides choral training and performance opportunities for over 200 vocally talented community children in several choirs. Presbyterian Women

Purpose:
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, women commit themselves: to nurture their faith through prayer and Bible study; to support the mission of the Church world-wide; to work for justice and peace; and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

Monthly Gatherings:
On the 1st Thursday of the month, or three times each year on the 1st Saturday, men and women of PPC are invited to a gathering of the entire Presbyterian Women membership:
Coffee and Fellowship in South Hall at 9:30 a.m.
Program in Gamble Lounge at 10:00 a.m.

Circles:
On the 3rd Thursday of the month, October - June, small groups gather in members' homes for study of the Gospel of John, discussion of "Women And The Word," and for fellowship. Women wishing to take part are assigned to a specific circle, which determines its own meeting time (most are during the day). On the 3rd Monday of the month, all women are welcome at an evening Circle which meets from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in Gamble Lounge at PPC.  For more information on joining a Circle, call the PPC office at (626) 793-2191.

Stewardship & Mission Support:
Through pledges, bequests and special offerings, Presbyterian Women provides funds for local, state and national projects, as well as designated gifts for persons and programs within PPC.
